------------------------------
NewLook changes the design of Workbench gadgets. It streamlines the
look of the screen. Double-click the program icon and the change is
automatically made.
This version of NewLook contains seven different styles. Double-click
the NewLook.PIC icon to see all the styles.
The program can be called from the CLI/Shell or WorkBench.
Here is syntax from the CLI, as the program is pathed on this issue:
j:newlook/newlook <style> (press Return)
. . . where <style> is a number from 1 to 7. The author's favorite is 4.
Here is the syntax from WorkBench:
Click once on the NewLook Icon. Select INFO from the pulldown Workbench
Menu at top left of screen. On the INFO screen change the number after
STYLE= to reflect the style you want. Press the Return key. Click on the
Save gadget. Double-click the NewLook icon to get the new style. NewLook
will immediately change the gadget images.
NewLook can be put in the C directory of Workbench as an adjunct to
AmigaDOS commands. Put this line just before the final line in the
startup-sequence:
newlook 4
. . . and the disk will boot with the No. 4 style of NewLook already in
effect. Alternately, choose any number from 1 to 7 for different styles.
